James Egan Layne

The James Egan Layne is an American liberty ship which was torpedoed in 1945 in Whitsand Bay. She was carrying a mixed cargo and is about 400 feet long.

Her bows start in about 8 metres and the stern goes down to about 28. This a great wreck for either wide angle or macro at a depth to suit you. Click on the images to see larger versions in a new window.
